LIGNICOAT at the Renewable Materials Conference 2024

LIGNICOAT proudly participated in the Renewable Materials Conference 2024 from June 11-13 in Cologne, Germany. Around 425 industry professionals attended the event, which provided an ideal platform for us to highlight our advancements in sustainable coatings.

Our project coordinator partner, TECNALIA, presented a poster titled “Lignin Polyols for Polyurethane Coatings”. It showcased our innovative approach to using lignin, from synthesizing lignin polyols to illustrating the properties of our polyurethane (PU) and non-isocyanate PU. The positive reception and engaging discussions highlighted the relevance and potential of our work in the industry.

The conference facilitated valuable networking opportunities, allowing us to connect with industry leaders and potential collaborators. These interactions are vital as we continue to develop bio-based coating solutions.
