Presentation: Online Webinar on the Future of Biobased Polymers in Europe

Last Friday, February 9th, our partner, AXIA Innovation, gave a 15-minute presentation in an online webinar titled “Biobased Polymers in Europe: What’s New?” organized by Bioeconomy For Change (B4C).

Besides LIGNICOAT, the webinar hosted three other EU-funded projects, NIPU-EJD, Thermofire, and Biontop, to talk about the novelties they bring to the European biobased landscape from non-isocyanate polyurethanes, bio-based fire-retardant thermoplastics, and bio-based copolymers and coatings.

The LIGNICOAT presentation generated great interest among the 100 participants, and it was a good occasion overall to showcase the advancements of the project and some technical insights into our lignin-based coatings and bioadditives based on hop for antimicrobial purposes.
