Jaime Gracia-Vitoria, from VITO, showcased the progress of the LIGNICOAT project during Paper Week Canada 2023.
During the session “BIOFOR – Lignin State-of-the-art: Products” VITO introduced our LIGNICOAT project. The presentation was titled “Lignin Modification and Depolymerization: The Way to Biobased Materials Containing Aromatic Units” and revolved around the development of bio-based coatings starting from lignin biomass.
The Paper Week Canada 2023 was held online and attracted over 950 participants. It was a huge occasion for LIGNICOAT to be showcased to the pulp & paper and forest products industry.
