24M Consortium Meeting at VTT on June 6 – 7

Next week, on June 6th and 7th, the LIGNICOAT project will hold its fifth consortium meeting. The meeting will be hosted by VTT, the Technical Research Center of Finland, at their premises in Espoo (Finland).

The agenda involves a technical tour at the VTT pilot facilities in Bioruukki on day 1, followed by the first work package leaders’ presentations in the afternoon.

On day 2, the meeting will start with the internal advisory board and the remaining WP leaders’ presentations.

As the LIGNICOAT project reached its midway point, the outcomes of this 24-month meeting signify a major milestone in the journey towards bio-based coatings derived from lignin, which will soon become a viable and eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based counterparts.

Stay tuned to learn more about the outcome of the project meeting.
