VITO’s participation in the 9th ICGC

The 9th IUPAC International Conference on Green Chemistry (ICGC) was held in Athens (Greece) from September 5 to 9, 2022.

The 9th ICGC was organized by the Association of Greek Chemists (AGC) in conjunction with the IUPAC Interdivisional Committee on Green Chemistry for Sustainable Development (ICGCSD).

This year’s edition was focused on three broad general subjects related to the field of Green Chemistry.The topics revolved around research and industry, education and society, and circular economy.

The significance of Green Chemistry in accomplishing Sustainable Development Goals was given specific consideration.

From LIGNICOAT, our partner VITO attended the event and gave a presentation that included project findings.
