Last week NORCE had the opportunity to participate in the European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology (esib 2022) in Graz, which was simultaneously organised with the International Conference on Fiber and Polymer Biotechnology (ifpb) and the Pichia 2022. Flyers of the LIGNICOAT project were passed out during the event.
NORCE attended the conference as one of the reference institutes in the field of biotechnology in Europe. The conference was an occasion to gather biotechnological experts from research, business, and politics.
During the event, NORCE took part in a hands-on course on Pichia pastoris, a promising yeast host for the industrial bioproduction of enzymes and other chemical commodities.
