This year EU Bio-economy conference 2022 or “The Bioeconomy – Enabling the European Green Deal in Challenging Times” is taking place on 6 and 7 October in the Charlemagne building in Brussel and Online. This conference will feature the main points of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy Progress Report, adopted in June 2022, emphasizing the role of bioeconomy policy.
The conference will showcase success stories of CBE JU-funded projects and EU Bioeconomy strategy implementation and EU policy actions. Topics to be covered will be centered in how the economy could support a business to achieve climate and biodiversity objectives while matching industrial needs.
Bioeconomy includes vast number of industries associated with biological resources consumption and production. This concept can be a key driver of the European Green Deal Transformation.
